History

Nouveau University’s Roots

Nouveau University (NU) is the inspiration and creation of Jim and Mary Piccolo, and Bob Snyder, business leaders renowned for their transformation of the real estate investing seminar business. For several years, the team has been successfully championing practicing real estate professionals while teaching investors highly relevant applications for portfolio building.

The Birth of an Idea

Knowing they could teach busy working professionals and entrepreneurs the technical skills needed to build and operate their own businesses, the founders decided to share their combined business and educational experience by joining the higher education community. Nouveau University was born.

Nouveau University Comes to Life

As the vision of Nouveau University evolved and the mission unfolded, the founders launched their search for seasoned academic and business professionals who could build a university that would function entirely online. Human and financial resources committed by the founders soon facilitated the realization of a Nouveau University’s new and innovative model. NU combined traditional academic learning with the convenience of online collaboration while attracting students who desire a vibrant learning community focused on their educational success.

Although Nouveau University is a virtual institution, our corporate headquarters are located at 7077 E. Marilyn Road, Suite 130, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.

Nouveau University’s Milestones

November, 2005 – Nouveau Educational Systems, Inc., d/b/a Nouveau University, is incorporated in the State of Nevada.

October, 2007 – Nouveau University hires its first employee.

March, 2008 – Nouveau University receives conditional licensure from Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education to offer Associate of Science and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in accounting, finance, marketing, real estate investing, and small business management.

June, 2008 – Nouveau University unveils its Web site, www.nouveauU.com

August, 2008 - Nouveau University admits its first student.
